All water-based lubricants require a preservative system.  The Unicorns requested that we keep ours methylparaben and propylparaben free for those with paraben allergies.  Again, cause Unicorns are looking out for you.  Our flavored lubricants are preserved with pentylene glycol and potassium sorbate which have very low risk for irritation.
